01Who we are
sceneh.ai is operated by sceneh.ai Labs (“sceneh.ai”, “we”, “us” or “our”), headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. We build an AI video production platform that turns a creative brief into strategy, script, storyboard, voice and a finished video.
For the purposes of applicable data protection law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) and, where it applies, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), sceneh.ai Labs is the data fiduciary / controller of the personal data described in this policy.
02Scope of this policy
This policy applies to personal data we process when you visit sceneh.ai and its sub-pages (the “Site”), join our waitlist, correspond with us, or use the sceneh.ai platform and related services (together, the “Services”). It does not cover third-party websites or services that we link to, which are governed by their own privacy notices.
03Information we collect

- Waitlist and contact details: your name, email address, company or brand name, and the role that best describes you.
- Correspondence: the content of emails or messages you send us, including new-business, press and careers enquiries.
- Platform content: when you use the Services, the briefs, prompts, brand guidelines, scripts, images, audio, video and other materials you upload or create (“Customer Content”), and account details such as login credentials and billing contacts.
Information collected automatically

04How we use your information
We use personal data only for specific, clear purposes:
- to manage the waitlist, contact you about early access and onboard you to the Services;
- to provide, operate, maintain and secure the Services, including generating the videos you request;
- to respond to enquiries and provide customer support;
- to understand how the Site is used and which channels bring visitors, so we can improve it;
- to send product updates or marketing communications, where you have agreed or where permitted by law;
- to detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents and violations of our Terms; and
- to comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
We do not use Customer Content to train generally available AI models without your explicit, separate consent. We do not sell personal data.
05Consent and legal bases
Under the DPDP Act we process personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit a form or use the Services, or for legitimate uses permitted by the Act. You may withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it.
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Services); legitimate interests (running and securing the Site, understanding aggregate usage, and responding to business enquiries); consent (marketing communications and any optional analytics); and legal obligation.
08International transfers
We are based in India and some of our service providers operate in other countries, including the United States and the European Union. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we do so in accordance with applicable law and, where required, rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
09Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes above. Waitlist details are retained until you join the Services or ask us to remove you. Customer Content is retained for the life of your account and deleted within a reasonable period after closure, unless a longer period is required by law or to resolve disputes. Aggregated or de-identified information may be kept for analytics.
10Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls on a need-to-know basis and vetted infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a personal data breach where the law requires.
11Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed;
- correct, complete or update inaccurate personal data;
- request erasure of your personal data;
- withdraw consent and opt out of marketing communications at any time;
- object to or restrict certain processing, and request data portability (GDPR);
- nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity (DPDP Act); and
